Up and down Buttonhole stitch

This is the trial stitch for the TAST1  week 11, up and down Buttonhole stitch.

Handmade purse.

I just stitched one embroidary, the flower basket, since I love todo the couching.
soon after that i had to give a trial of TAST2010 week 21st stitch the slipped detached stitch.
So i had done the trial on the same felt.
After that i convert the embroidary felt into a purse given liner inside and lace border outsid and ofcourse a zipper too..
Now have a look of this pretty handmade purse.

This is the simple embroidary I had done recently.

Plastic canvas design

This is plastic canvas work. Done by wool.
Not decided what to do with this. May be a handbag.
Previously I had done one box with this plastic canvas and a flowervase.
I too made a bangle purse also.

Luggage tag

 This is a luggage tag made by me.

I cut the design from a square plastic canvas and done like this.

This is another one but another colour.

After making joining the two it does looks like a kolam.

Yes now it does became

Radha Yatra at Kansas (USA) Temple.

There was a Radha Yatra held at Kansas Temple.

it is a nice experience participating the function.

The Deits, (Jaganthji, Subtra and Balram) are taken as Orvalam in the decorated Radham and devottess were pulled the Radham by chanting sharanamas.The decorated deities were placed inside the  decorated mandabam and pujas were performed. After that elebarated Arti was taken and then the Arti were taken near the  gathering people. Various instruments were played by the devotees. Dance performance of the Indian residence children were held. After that Lunch provided to all the devotees. Bajans were held and it was a really very nice experience partipating the function at Kansas Templeat USA.

Beads work done on a pouch

This is the handmade pouch done  by me. One side i had done beads work.

The otherside I added pearl and golden beads.

Embroidary round Greeting card.

I had done this embroidary greeting card to a friend.
The centre portion is cross stitch. outer are various stiches. Ended with white lace. The side flower is crochet one.

This is one of my jewel making creation. It is readymade and whenever the urgent funtion can be attached with the jadai. glittering white stone is used here and elegant look will be there if used.

kolam design cross stitch

I found the design from clanbadge.com for creating celtic knots.
But on seeing it It does looks like our Padi kolam. So I stitched the  design in a mati cloth as cross stitch  and named it as padikolam.
