Paintings part 2.

Is it so boring on seeing my works again and again friends???????????
I am just recapping of my paintings here.
These parrots are done with embossed glass painting.
When i was a little girl. there was 2 peacock bead work done by mother used hang both sides of the entrance door. I just imagine like that and had done these parrots. These parrots are hanging at the entrance of my flat now.
I had given a trial of velvet embossed painting. It is nothing but given traced design has to fill up with given colour. I used to think, that i should have used acrylic colour or fabric colour instead of the given colours. It is somewhat dull look.Have you seen the jangli beengli kundand all around////
what to do I like those kundans much.
This is call crackle medium painting. Double colours used here withe medium of crackle. One crackle effect is being seen. I had done some 2 or  3 crackle medium painting with the help of this medium but does not have any photos of those painting. This is the only one remained.
This is called decoupage. the centre Ganesha's picture is pasted in an cardboard and merged. Like wise decoupage paintings, i had done over pot, jewel box, and a lot. But doesn't have any photos of those. This is an example only.
Isn't the annam very beautiful?
Yes i liked it. In an class 3 paintings were taught. These are all done by acralic colours in an canvas.
They very fastly taught and i am not able to cope up. The first scenery spoiled totally. So i had not done the work at the class, taken notes there and sit at home and leisurely done it. Oh!.
I liked the out come well. Here too comes the kundan, the same colour kundan, can be visible finely but not in this photo.
My friend liked it very much She asked me to do one for her.
I got bored with the same colour again. So i had done the same motif in coffee painting. She was very very happy viewing it.
Have a look of coffee painting.
.
The same design. The out come was very pretty. That one is hanging in her house living room now.
I mentioned about learned 3 paintings no?
This is the 3rd one. For this also i had not at class. Just taken notes of colours and method and completed at home. It does took one week for me to complete. I am slow. It was not possible for me to complete with one day.
There is little deviations....... but O.K. what you say my Friends?
Here comes the vasthu mural.
Painted cardboard with yellow and orange mix and done the designs with M.seal.
Here instead of kundans, i used little mirrors.
After completing the vasthu mural. i thought of doing same size one at the other part, so that have uniform view.
So i had done this.
Here i used orange spray painting. It was so dark.
I cannot mix colours with spray. So left as it is.
The Dasavathara tiny statues are pasted so I called it Dasavathara mural.
Both the vasthu mural and Dasavathra mural are hanging now in my flat.
I will narrate the story of learned Tanjore paintings and finished works soon.

Paintings

Yes Paintings.......
         Done by me as murals........
                  Sometimes back.......
                            Just a recap..........
Let me enjoy myself the paintings done by me.
Are you also interested to hear? Or bored to see again?

This is the first ever painting mural done by me.
Very very easy. On the cardboard I painted black as background.
With chemical clay(M.seal) prepared the flowers alone.
Learned to paint double stroke, dry stroke, twisted stroke by painting the leaves.
It was very interesting.
This is also so easy.
But at the background i used POP added with little water and fevicol and made a paste and applied on the cardboard.
With the help of frok, i made some design over the wet pop. After it does dries, i painted the full back ground.
The faces are done by little plywood cutting and with the help of M.seal i made eyes, nose, eyebrows and features.
Given a first coate of back and over it a copper shade.
This photo, the copper shade is not visible.
As usual my little handwork at the sides.
I really enjoyed doing it. It is hanging near the steps leading to first floor in my house.
This is called Gurjary painting.
In a shakshi board, i painted yellow and orange mixed colour. after drying it, i traced the design.
The full design was done by thread.
After that i painted carefully with white and orange.
added mirrors all over the paintings to give a glitter loos.
Naveen liked it very much and taken away to hang in his room. Both mother and son (My daughter and grandson)had a competition and my daughter won and as per her wish this painting is now hanging in the living room of my daughters house.
This is a glass painting done with solvent glass paint. Just covered the round sakshiboard with aluminium foil and done the outline design with cone work. I learned to do cone work with this. Filled it glass solvent colour. I had 3 nos of this same painting and  I done variety at the centre portion.
I presented 2 nos to my friends and one is at my house now in the showcase.
This is called reverse glass painting. The design is being filled with colours at the backside of the
printed design.
Like wise i had done the same pillayar 2 Nos. alalilaiKrishna one and Lakshmi one.
This pilliyar wallhaning only is with me now and it is hanging the front wall of my living room.

The another painting which enjoyed much doing. The original model piece was red in colour, but I felt the Ganesha seems angry. So i had done in blue colour.
At the bottom of thick cardboard, i applied pop+white cement+fevicol+little water. made a thick paste and applied over very carefully in a same thickness. Then with wet hand i tapped the applied paste and got the background.
After fully dried, i applied first white and then gradually merged the blue and got the background. Now traced the design and started doing the design with M.seal. It does took a longtime for me to complete the whole picture. It does need very care too. Then applied black very carefully all over Ganesha and got this mural done. After finishing it I said woooooooooo.
The result is very nice and now the Dancing Ganesha is hanging on the pooja room outside wall of my present flat.
Here comes my ever loving Vennai Krishna.
I love love love HIM so so so much.
It also does took so many days to complete the picture.
Then I was doing jewel making and so i decorated my vannai kanna with all original jewel.
Here solvent glass colours, acrylic colours, fabric colour and M.seal are used. I used to love jangli beengli kundans and not hesitate to apply kundan wherever i like. I really love doing this painting and It is now hanging in our second bedroom.
This is the mirror work i had done.
I took framed mirror and applied pop+fevicol mix and applied the design. Then over it done cone work to show the intricate work. Then given silver painting. Even Gold painting would also nice. But i preferred silver. Here is also the jangli beengli kundan comes. What to do i fall love with those kundans.
This mirror is now hanging in the front wall of my flat.
Now I am able to do cone work well. So had done the work in a traced design at the tile.
solvent glass colours are used here. Thank god i had not used any kundans here.
It is now sitting at the showcase of my flat.
I will narrate some other paintings of mine soon. As of now bye.

Inniya viruthu

I was away from home.
Had a pilgrimage to Shirdi.
There was a little rain. But had a very good Darshan.
After i return from there, it is a pleasant surprise for me from Rajeswari........
Yes i was awarded by Rajeswari.
It is here
I am addict for her blog.http://jaghamani.blogspot.in/2012/07/blog-post_17.html
I used excited to read the new and detailed narration of the places, temples.
She is having good command over the language and I never miss any of her post.
Some times i myself alone here laugh loudly, prey in front of the deities photos on seeing her posts.
I cannot visit some of the places in my life time. But felt like visiting over there by her beautiful photos and explanation of places.
I strongly say that her writing about our festivals, temples will certainly help our younger generation to know a lot about our temples and festivals.
I am honoured by receiving the award from her as if getting sheddu from a mothirakai.
And this is the Award
Thankyou Thankyou verymuch dear.
I am here presenting the moveable Rangolis to Rajeswari as thanks giving.

Made with love.

I made one Arathi thattu for my frinds daughters wedding. and it is here.
This is an recycled craft. I will narrate the story.

Two months back my friend Vasantha's son marriage was held. It was so grand. We, our friends had a very nice and happy time over there
She took very care in every item and of course everybody very enjoys all there.
The first item.... invitation. The invitation was very nice and pleasing.Sandalwood smell came from that invitation while opening. white stone decorated all over the envelop holding the invitation.
After the marriage was over, during our next meet, all of my friends gave me their respective envelops stating that i can make use of it in a good manner. I really felt happy. and waiting for a chance to prepare something with that envelop.
Here comes the opportunity.
Our other friends daughter's marriage fixed.
For her nithyadartham, I was asked to prepared  arathi thattu .
I used  the envelop.
First let me show the invitation.
It is here.
I cut the centre round design
and arranged it in this manner.
Somewhat i am not satisfied.
Tried like this.
covered the plate with light yellow satin cloth and arranged like this. I changed the centre potion too.
Now a little candle can be placed at the centre for using this as arathi thattu.
Is it O.K.va friends?
I recycled the marriage invitation envelop into a pretty arathi thattu.
This is with Love from Viji to Jamuna.(My friends daughter's name).
Of course a mother., i mean Vasantha's love towards her son for selecting a pretty invitation card,my friends love towards me to give all the envelops to create a craft,
and my love towards Jamuna to create a little craft on her wedding.
So this is made with love.........
This is for
