dotted kolam

I drawn this little dotted kolam
As usual the terracota Ganesha is near the kolam roaming a boat.

woven cross stitch

Woven cross stitch is TAST 2010 week 42 stitch.
I had given a trial of this stitch.

In this connection i had learnt this stich previously from Lakshmis blog.

I was trying the stitch and design of Lakshmi previously and the design i had done from Lakshmis blog is here.

I had given a trial then in an gigzam cotton cloth.

Ganapathy

I like Ganapathy very much.
I am having humpty numbers of Ganapathies in my home. It does include terracota, marble. wood, silver, brass, navadanya paintings, murals and mmmmmmmmmmmmmm
a lot countless.
He will behappily sitting wherever i give Him seat.
Here it is the Table decoration on Naveen Birthday.
I think He is happy blessing him.

Here in this flower decoration, i tied the december flower(Neela kanagambaram) with coppersulphate colour wool and it does looks like a garland.

Pearl chain

This is the small pearl chain and penant i made.

Magic chin stitch.

Now in Pintangle, Sharon had instructed and called as Checkered chain stitch.

But previously i learned this stich as magic chain stitch and had done a design. and this one .

green and pearl

I made this necklace with green crystel and pearls. glass beads also used here.

Red crystel ear drop

I made this ear drop with honey colour crystels and red seed beed.
the last hanging beed is a favarite to me.

pookolam

I like flowers verymuch.
Whenever i pass through near flower vendors, i used to varity of flowers and started decorated it.
Now days i am not getting varities of flowers. But for that i have to go a long way.
So with available little flowers, i had done this little pookolam.

crystel bracelet.

 FromAround the Table site, i learned to do another bracelet.
For this i used crystel honey colour and green. I used blue colour glass seed beads.

I prepared one penand matching the bracelet.

These are kutty kolams i draw in my house.

Pearl bracelet

I made this bracelt with pearls and golden beads.

earhanging.

While browsing the net i came through a site called Around the beading Table. wherein tutorials given for making earring.
I fallen in love with the design.So i adhere it.
I prepared. But it does seems to be so long to hang the ear for the little girls. So i have to try it with small beads.
o.k. let me try.
Yes i tried it out with some other combination. like this.

No .....no..... I dont satisfied.

Now I finished like this.

kolam

I dont find any interest in doing craft.
somewhat a boredem.
Just to recupe me, i prepared thekolam. just simple kolam.
Only 2 colours are used.

just   just   just......like that.

quilling

I triedout this by quilling.
I have not satisfied with this design.
I think i have to go a longway to get a perfect work.

Karthigai deepam 2

I lit electrical candle lights in the corodor, because wind will destroy the oil lamps.

Karthikai Deepam.

Karthikai Deepam festival is celebrated at SouthIndia in a grand manner. Deepavali is said to be the Deepa+avali,.
But actually Karthikai deepam day is celebarated with litting of lights full of houses and temples. Temples will looks so divine by litting of hundres and thousands of lights.
I like terracota very much. In my house my corridar is decorated with various terracotta items like, elephants, elephantlike plant holders, horses, various types of pots like. I like the original colour terracota lamps too.
While learning painting, i had done varities of painting with pots and sometimes terracotta lamps also. But all are to give as presents. In my house i use the original terracotta red colour items.
